Highlights
Author: In a new path for me, I've been dabling in publishing numismatic books. My first project is Agricultural and Mechanical Society Award Medals Of The United States. This project catalogs the collection of Andy Harkness. His longtime passion has been the study of medals awarded by Agricultural and Mechanical societies, mostly in the nineteenth century. My latest project is a pocket guide to the medals of the Rochester Numismatic Association.
Professionaly: A computer programmer by profession, I've been programmig computers for about 25 years. Recently, I've expanded my range by creating the Numismatic Cabinet web site where coin collectors can share their collection with the world. I've recently released as Open Source the Image Compare application.
Numismatically: Coin collecting has been my hobby since the early seventies. A longtime member of the Rochester Numismatic Association (RNA) my focus now is collecting the medals of the RNA.
Photographically: For the last twenty years I've pursued photography in an on-again-off-again relationship. For the last few years I've been learning macro photography. Photographing my own collection and others as well.
